Oct 29, 2011. #2. Sorry no answer with regards to Wunderlich Seat, however have a few suggestions. Could take your seat to Tony Archer in huddersfield who will re-shape your current seat perhaps taking a few cm's off, think he charges about £60 and loads of good reviews about him on here if you do a search.BMW Motorrad PH mechanics claim it is probably the throttle position sensor. If not for this bummer, the GS would have raked a perfect score. SPECS: BMW R 1200 GS. Engine: 1,170cc Liquid-cooled 4-stroke twin-cylinder boxer engine. Transmission: 6-speed transmission. Final drive: Shaft. Power: 125hp @ 7,750rpm. Torque: 125Nm @ 6,500rpm. SeatLowering r1200GS Adventure. I am height impaired 5' 9" with 30" inseam. I ride a R1200C, A great bike but it is severely range impaired. I have ridden the Alaska highway and northern Canada but want to greatly eliminate the problem of buying premium fuel every 180 miles or so. I can sit on the 1200GS model, non adventure, and can barely reach .
